Huawei’s sub-brand will officially launch the Honor Magic 2 on Halloween, October 31st, alongside a smartwatch wearable device. A new poster for the impending Honor Watch has emerged over the worldwide web confirming that the smartwatch will make its debut with the Magic 2.
The poster clearly shows the overlay of the Honor Watch smartwatch with a circular dial and a couple of physical buttons. Based on the poster, the Honor Watch design is quite identical to that of the Huawei Watch GT but the dial and the straps should have its unique design that marks off from the latter.
We also expect the Honor Watch to ship with the same internal components as to the Huawei Watch GT but with a significantly lesser features and cheaper components that should translate to a budget-friendly price.
For starters, the Huawei Watch GT comes in two models – a Classic and a Sports. Both models runs on Hauwei’s custom OS and not Goolge’s stock Wear OS. Huawei’s proprietary operating system for wearable smartwatch promises more battery life of up to 14 days. Looking at the poster above, the Honor Watch suggests that will also have the same battery life as to the Huawie Watch GT. The Honor Watch may also run Huawei’s OS with custom Honor skin or user interface. Huawei Watch GT wearables are powered by a Cortex-M4 chipset.
The Huawei Watch GT Sport starts at $230/€199 and the Classic Edition is $290/€249. As for the Honor Watch smartwatch price, it will likely starts at $175/€150.
