Netflix’s K-Drama Crash Landing on You has now concluded but what does the finale mean for the series?
The final episode of the South Korean romance drama “Crash Landing On You” starring Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin televised and streamed on Sunday, February 16, 2020 with the show’s fanbase saying it had one of the best finales.
Crash Landing On You tells a story of fashion empire heiress Yoon Se-ri (Son Ye-jin), who by accident crash-lands in North Korea while paragliding. Se-ri then stumbles upon Ri Jeong-hyuk (Hyun Bin), a captain of the North Korean platoon who secretly helps and protects her as they unlock a strategy to send her home to South Korea.
Since the Korean War dating way back in 1950, being in the North is not safe for any Southerners but Se-ri comes across a sympathetic North Korean officer, Jeong-hyuk, who helps her to get back home safely. Along the way, the two start to fall for each other, despite the unfriendly relations between their two nations.
The final episode of Crash Landing on You captures Se-ri on a vacation in Switzerland. Once there, Jeong-hyuk managed to join her on her holiday vacation and the couple shares some romantic moments and intimate kissing scene.
The show, which aired on tvN in South Korea and streamed online on the Los Gatos-headquartered media-services provider and production company Netflix, has seen to set a new record with the highest viewership rating for tvN beating another K-drama series, Goblin.
