The Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro launch prices may have been unwrapped, thanks to the new leak.
It appears that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is yet another technology company in the mobile industry to follow the suit of flagships releases with a whopping $1000 price tag or more. In a new leak allegedly came from a Swiss’ authorized mobile distributor has bolster up that notion. It lists three separate classification of the impending Mate 20 lineup, and their prices.
The new leaked document lists Huawei’s Mate 20 Lite, Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. The 64GB Mate Lite and Mate 20 Pro are both listed at 329SFr and 999SFr Swiss francs, respectively. That’s around $332 and $1008 in US dollars, respectively. Meanwhile, the standard Mate 20 is listed at 799SFr which translates to roughly $332 USD. It seems that Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro are following the suit of Apple’s iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max price structures.
The bombshell news is that these pricing are not for suggested retail prices, but those are proposed to retailers from the distributors. Accordingly, the Mate 20 series may slightly be increased once it hits the shelves. For an instance, final retail price of the Mate 20 Pro could climb at around $1,060 to $1,100. Given the starting prices of other premium smartphones, this is quite reasonable.
While the Mate 20 and 20 Pro are also available in three colorways, the Mate 20 Lite is listed in two color options only.
