iPhone XS Max?
According to a new report, the next big-hit smartphone is going to be named the iPhone XS Max. That’s the leaked branding name tipped for the rumoured 6.5-inch iPhone CS – the biggest screen display on any iPhone to date.
Last September 2017, Apple announced three new smartphones: the 4.7-inch iPhone 8, the 5.5-inch iPhone 8 Plus, and the flagship smartphone — 5.8-inch iPhone X.
This year though, Apple is widely expected to release a 5.8-inch iPhone XS, a 6.1-inch iPhone 9, and a mystery 6.5-inch (name is still unknown).
According to ever reliable tech new publication 9to5Mac, the 6.5-inch handset will be called iPhone XS Max – rather than the recently rumored iPhone XS Plus name.
Of course Apple won’t confirmed this yet until September 12, but the new report cites “two sources familiar with Apple’s marketing plans.”
iPhone XS, Plus/Max Release Date
Apple is schedule to hold its new iPhone event on September 12, though it remains mystery when the iPhone XS will actually be released in the wild.
However, based on the tech giant’s recent history of launching an iPhone, pre-order, and release dates, we estimate that the official sales of the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Plus/Max are likely to open roughly just a week after the announcement, more probably on Friday September 21. After that, consumers will likely be waiting another seven days before the handsets begin shipping, making for a potential iPhone XS release date of Friday September 28.
Just we’ve mentioned earlier, these are still pure speculations and the same might not hold true for every iPhone launch on September 12, but reckoning that the iPhone XS and XS Plus are indeed the successors to the iPhone X, there’s a chance they will be among the first to hit the market.
iPhone XS Price
The manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) for the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Plus/Max and LCD model has yet to be verified, And given that it is Apple, so the new iPhones won’t be that cheap.
The the 2017 iPhone X starts at £999/$999 for the 128GB base model and goes up to a whopping £1149/$1149 for the 256GB storage variant.

News outlet dedicated to publishing all things related to Apple, 9to5Mac, has posted the following images, which it claims is the real 2018 iPhones and shows the 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch models of the iPhone XS and iPhone CS Plus respectively. The most intriguing part about it – other than the fact that it shows the larger iPhone XS model we’ve heard so much about in the past several months – is that it apparently divulges the smartphones in gold colorway. This would represent a new color variant, as the iPhone X was only made available in silver and grey finishing.
