The LG V40 ThinQ is launching next month in hope to get a significant bite in the smartphone market share. The Korean technology company already confirmed the launch date of the LG V40 ThinQ at a special event in New York and in its homeland Seoul in South Korean on October 3rd and 4th, respectively. Prior to its official unveiling, the worldwide web kept on warbling with the rumors, leaks and speculations about the V40 ThinQ. Earlier in September 2018, LG shared a short video clip of its impending handset on its website. The motion picture showed an image being taken from three different angles, suggesting the presence of a triple-lens sensors-equipped main camera system at the rear panel of the device.
But now, with just less than two week prior to the official announcement, the purported specifications of the LG V40 ThinQ has been leaked. Unlike the early rumors scattered on the social media services, the new leak that comes with detailed information about the features an specs pf the phone suggests the handset would ship with a dual-lens main camera with a 16MP and a 12MP sensors.
While the South Korean electronics titan has yet to provide any details about the successor to the V35 ThinQ, there are a bunch of information circulation on the Internet to keep the fans alive.
The LG V40 ThinQ, according to the recently leaked specs sheet, to feature a 6.4-inch quad HD POLED display with a resolution of 3120×1440 pixels. The device is said to be powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with 8GB RAM, a 3,300mAh battery capacity, Quad DAC and Stereo Speaker Boombox audio technologies.
As for camera department, the latest leak suggests the LG V40 ThinQ will feature a triple-lens main camera system with a 16MP sensor with a focal length of f/1.9 aperture. In addition to that, it will also have another two 12MP sensors with a with aperture of f/1.5 and f/2.4 apiece. However, as the latest intelligence report suggests, the upcoming V series iteration will be packed with a dual-lens rear-facing camera.
LG has been regularly increasing the retail price of its V series flagships. The LG V35 ThinQ which was releases earlier this year, has an introductory price tag of $900. So we don’t anticipate the LG V40 ThinQ to be any priced similar to its predecessor. The V40 ThinQ could easily cost around $999 in the United State.
