Since Xiaomi President Lin Bin indirectly confirmed that the Mi Mix 3 will be unveiled some time in October, the fans are excited for the official confirmation of the flagship smartphone’s launch date. Last week, we reported that a leak claimed that Xiaomi will make the Mi Note 4 official alongside the Mi Mix 3. Now, a latest intelligence suggests that there will be a multiple editions of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. The new leak indicating the multiple variants of the Mi Mix 3 have unearthed on the China’s 3C Certificate or China Compulsory Certification (CCC) website. For starters, the 3C Certificate is China’s counterpart of United States’ FCC (Federal Communications Commission).
Now that the Mi Mix 3 has managed to score its 3C Certificate, it looks that its launch date may just be around the corner. The 3C Certificate body has certified Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 variants including M1810E5A, M1810E5E, M1810E5T and M1810E5EC. The 3C certification of the aforementioned models have not unwrap any details on their specs sheet. The Mi Mix 3 carries support for 12V / 1.5A fast charging support. Now that the Mi Mix 3 has been been given a green light by the China’s 3C, the handset may soon surface on TENAA with full specs sheet and press renders.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will allegedly sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, a faster 5G mobile connectivity and has one of the highest screen-to-body ratio to date. Additionally, the Mi Mix 3 features a slide-up design that houses the front-facing shooter, an earpiece and among other sensors. In addition to that, the device will reportedly feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and a dedicated button for launching the Xiao AI assistant.
Multiple reports claims that the launch date of Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is on October 15. However, the Chinese technology company has yet to provide confirmation regarding this.
Samsung is already selling the Galaxy Note 9 since August of this year. Apple has already release its iPhone XS and XS Max in September. Earlier this month, LG came next with the launch of V40 ThinQ. The search engine giant Google just announced the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. While the biggest names in the mobile industry has already and (about to) release their 2018 flagship smartphones, other trusted smartphone makers including Huawei and OnePlus are scheduled to unveil theirs later this month.
OnePlus has officially confirmed the OnePlus 6T launch on October 30. Huawei is set to formally launch the Mate 20 (standard edition), Mate 20 Lite and Mate 20 Pro on October 16. Honor will also join the fall launch party with its Magic 2 smartphone unveiling on October 31. With all that being said, there is a solid indication that Xiaomi may launch the Mi Mix 3 by mid or by end of October.
