OPPO Find X gets its release date details alongside initial pricing and geographical availability. The super premium flagship smartphone is more expensive than the iPhone X.
You might have never heard of Oppo, a Chinese mobile phone manufacturer that does not sell its electronic products much outside Asian markets. But the new symmetrically bezel-less all-screen smartphone with a pop-up slider mechanism will definitely have you remember this brand name. For starters, Oppo alongside OnePlus and Vivo are all subsidiaries of one Chinese mega tech company — BBK. While Vivo and Oppo are wholly-owned companies of BBK, OnePlus is technically a subsidiary of Oppo Electronics. And since BBK is the parent company we can safely say that all three brands are sister companies under one umbrella.
In first quarter of 2017, BBK Electronics shipped a total of 56.7 million smartphones — with OPPO shipping 30.9 million and 25.8 million units of Vivo handsets — surpassing both Huawei and Apple to become the 2nd largest smartphone OEM globally, according to Gartner. Samsung was the top smartphone seller with 78.7 million mobile phones shipped. In the same quarter of 2017, Apple came in third and Huawei was fourth with 51.9 million and 34.2 million, respectively. In September 2017, BBK overshadowed Samsung to become the largest smartphone vendor in India.
Now back to Oppo, the innovative mobile device that you are seeing above is the new Find X, a premium flagship smartphone with virtually no bezel, no notch and no cutouts just a “Panoramic Arc Screen” as Oppo called it. The Find X features a record-breaking 93.8% visual screen-to-body ratio, a 6.42-inch AMOLED display. The smartphone packs with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC processor paired with 8GB of RAM under the hood alongside a jaw-dropping 256GB of internal storage.
As for camera department, the device sports with a clever camera setup a Oppo called it “Stealth 3D Camera” with a reliably advanced facial recognition scanner that the China-based OEM is so confident in that it has not included a fingerprint reader. It is worth noting that Apple did the same decision with the iPhone X. The Find X comes with a dual-lens rear-camera (20MP + 16MP) while the front-facing selfie snapper is a whopping 25MP. The handset has a massive battery of 3,730mAh.
But what is the manufacturer’s suggested retail price and release date of the Oppo Find X? Oppo company has wrapped up its unveiling event in Paris, France. It was also revealed that the Find X price will be available in European market in August 2018 for a whopping €999 which translate to $1,155 to $1,160, depending on the foreign exchange.
The OPPO Find X Is A Futuristic Smartphone That Comes With A Hefty Price Tag Of €999. A More Premium Model — Find X Lamborghini Edition — Is Also In The Release Pipeline, Priced At €1,699.
The smartphone does belong to the super premium flagships and the downsizing of its bezels will particularly come at an expensive price tag due to the level of R&D engineering required. Oppo claimed that the high-end flagship will gradually release in Europe starting soon in France, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands. Some minute variations in MSRP are also probable.
As for the Oppo Find X release date and pricing in United States, Oppo mentioned that it will bring the flagship to American land. But so far details on pricing and availability has yet to be announced.
Finally, a stylish and more premium Lamborghini edition of the Oppo Find X will also be available for a whopping 1,699 Euros, or $1,970 USD. Oppo Find X Automobili Lamborghini Edition, is equipped with a Super VOOC Flash Charge. It is the next generation VOOC Flash Charging system proprietary rapid-charge technology created by Oppo. Oppo claims it can charge the phone’s battery from 0% to 100% in just 35 minutes. The Lamborghini edition of Find X will come with carbon fiber skin under the Gorilla glass on the back panel and there’s the Lambo badge, of course. With the expensive price, this special edition packs with the 512 GB storage – double what the standard model gets. — The Centrio News
