With “The King: Eternal Monarch” episode 16 waiting to be aired, SBS’ fantasy romance drama is heading into its finale on a nationwide ratings upswing.
On June 6, “The King: Eternal Monarch” episode 15 saw an increase in viewership rating from the prior episode the evening before. According to Nielsen Korea, the drama garnered an average nationwide ratings of 5.9 percent and 8.1 percent for its two slices.
Meanwhile, Lee Min Ho posted a photo of himself watching the “The King: Eternal Monarch” a week after he wrapped the shooting of the aforementioned drama. Min Ho was seated in front of his TV wearing a black suit while holding the stuffed toy.
The King: Eternal Monarch premiered its 15th episode earlier this week and will unfold its final episode on June 12.
Meanwhile, TV Chosun’s “King Maker: The Change of Destiny” managed to catch up new spectators, maintaining its skyward trend and attaining its highest ratings to date. The historical drama about Joseon’s greatest fortune teller uses fame and wealth to save the girl he loves managed to score an average nationwide rating of 4.6 percent for the episide, shattering a new record for the drama.
Meanwhile, tvN’s “When My Love Blooms” also benefited from an increase in viewership, tallying an average nationwide rating of 4.1 percent, while OCN’s “Team Bulldog: Off-Duty Investigation” totaled an average rating of 2.3 percent.
