Walmart Black Friday 2018 Ad Release
Walmart will likely be posting its Black Friday ad a couple of weeks prior to Thanksgiving Day. Last year, for example, Walmart published its advertisement at 12AM ET on November 9th. As for 2018, Walmart’s Black Friday ad is anticipated to be released at 12AM on Thursday, November 8th.
For starters, Walmart has historically halted until rivals Best Buy and Target release their respective ads before showing off its own ad. For this year, the Big W will likely to stick the same plan. Expect an ad catalog slightly over 30 pages packed with consumer electronics, including the iPhone XS, iPhone XR, 4K UHD TVs, Apple Watch, iPad, Sony PS4 Pro, Microsoft Xbox One X and Nintendo Switch.
Walmart Black Friday 2018 Online & In-Store Sale Hours and Times
In the previous years, Walmart has begun its in-store Black Friday sale on Turkey Thursday at six o’clock in the evening. While some industry analysts predicts Walmart could open a bit earlier this year, others projects the retailer to stick to its traditional 6PM opening time on Thanksgiving Day. The in-physical store sale is expected to run the entire night leading into Black Friday proper. The pre-Black Friday online deals may actually start rolling out on the Monday on Thanksgiving week.
Will Walmart Offer Free Shipping?
While many big-box discount retail chains are likely to offer free shipping without minimum purchase required. Walmart is far-fetched to follow the trend in the upcoming Black Friday. Walmart currently offers free two-day delivery with $35 orders or more. Rivals Target and Best Buy are expected offer free shipping with no minimum orders required.
