The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is one of the most appealing flagship smartphones released this fall because of its all-screen and bezel-less display, thanks to its slider design. The Mi Mix 3 was launched in late October and see a release in mainland China in early November. However, the Mi Mix 3 international version but has yet to launch globally. The flagship smartphone has a premium ceramic casing with colorways like Onyx Black and there’s even a special edition with up to 10GB of RAM.
Like other Xiaomi flagship smartphones, the Mi Mix 3 runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie mobile operating system. For those who have their hands of the Mi Mix 3 and are looking for an AOSP-based custom ROM, the kernel source code for the handset has been released.
The Mi Mix 3 users can now download the kernel sources code-named “perseus” here. Developers who are interested in the Mi Mix 3 can now take a try at building a custom ROM for the smartphone.
The Mi Mix 3 is Xiaomi’s sixth smartphone on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC after the release of the Mi Mix 2S, Mi 8, Mi 8 Explorer Edition, POCO F1, and Mi 8 Pro.
