Xiaomi confirmed that the Mi Mix 3 will feature 5G support and will be the world’s first handset to ship with 10GB RAM. Xiaomi officially confirmed the report through its official Weibo account by with a description: “world’s first 5G commercial mobile phone.”

When is Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Launch Date?
Recently, we have got an official confirmation for the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 launch date. The Chinese tech company is launching the Mi Mix 3 on October 25th in Beijing, China. After a rumored launch on October 15th, Xiaomi has finally revealed the official Mi Mix 3 launch date on its Weibo account.
Just yesterday, Xiaomi separately teased the 5G support and 10GB RAM, but it was not confirmed what it was trying to deliver. Today, Xiaomi has confirmed Mi Mix 3 will be the world’s first 5G with 10GB RAM smartphone commercially available in the market. It appears that there are more features Xiaomi is hiding under wraps about Mi Mix 3. Xiaomi will reveal everything when i take the center stage on October 25th.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Display
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3’s display resolution will be 1080×2340 with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Unlike other smartphones claiming that resolution, with Mi Mix 3 you’ll be able to take advantage of all pixels of the display, thanks to the absence of notch. Xiaomi managed to achieve a notch-less display by including a slider mechanism that houses the selfie snapper and other sensors.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Specs
The Mi Mix 3 will reportedly sport with Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with 10GB of RAM. Security-wise, the handset will also ship with TrueDepth camera system-esque 3D facial scanner and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Just like we’ve mentioned above, it will have 5G support, an AMOLED display, and dedicated XIAO AI button.
