It’s fall of 2019 and it only mean one thing in the mobile industry, new flagship releases. New leaked details suggests that the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 may be releases on 24th of September. If the report is to be believed, the Mi MIX 4 will hit the market less than 12-montha after the Mi Mix 3.
The Mi MIX 3 was officially launched back in October 2018, and Xiaomi made it available to the Chinese market in November. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 release date did leak, but that’s not all the details that emerged online.
There is a speculation swirling around the worldwide web claiming that the Mi MIX 4 will be the first ever smartphone to ship with a whopping 108-megapixel camera sensor at the back panel. We’re speaking about Samsung’s proprietary ISOCELL Bright HMX imaging sensor.
That avant-garde camera sensor was unveiled in August, and the Chinese mobile phone maker did confirm that it has plans to equip at least one smartphone featuring such a imaging technology.
Apart from the 108-MP sensor, the Mi MIX 4 is also speculated to equip with two more camera modules — a 16MP and 12MP sensors. That 16MP sensor will come with an ultrawide camera lens, while the 12-megapixel module will be a telephoto lens.
The Mi MIX 4 will also be launched in both 4G and 5G versions, just the its predecessor. The handset is expected to ship with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855+ system-on-chip coupled with a 12GB of RAM.
Android 10 will also be joining the party on the Mi MIX 4, while MIUI 11 custom OS is expected to come out of the box. Xiaomi has a pipeline of revealing its new MIUI versions during a separate media events. That said, we’re not quite surprise if it will not arrive at the same time as the upcoming Mi MIX 4.
