With the likes of Apple, Samsung, Oppo and Huawei announcing their very own flagship mobile phone this fall, Chinese technology company Xiaomi is also joining the hype. The Beijing-based tech giant is prepping up to officially announce its Mi Mix 4. However, ahead of the Mi Mix 4 release date, some of its features and specifications have relentlessly been leaking over the Internet.
The Mi Mix 4 leaks suggests that it will be shipped with a new infinity screen display, which is the same of that Vivo is equipping to its forthcoming NEX 3. Additionally, the leak has also suggest that the handset’s display will have a 90Hz refresh rate.
As for the imaging department is concern, the Mi Mix 4 will equip with a 108-megapixel camera sensor on the back panel alongside an ultra-wide and telephoto lenses. Xiaomi had recently claimed that it will soon release a new product that comes with Samsung’s 108MP ISOCELL Bright HMX image sensor. Now that the mobile phone appears to be the impending Mi MIX 4.
Moreover, Xiaomi will be ditching out the slider mechanism, it will be a equip a pop-up selfie camera sensor instead.
The forthcoming flagship smartphone is believed to come with 40W fast charging technology. However, it remains to be determined should the 40W fast charging refers to wireless charging technology or via USB-C. Xiaomi is gearing up to announce its Mi Charge Turbo wireless charging. It should be worth noting that the smartphone maker is currently offering 20W wireless charging in its Mi 9 flagship.
Another leak information earlier this week suggest that the the Mi Mix 4 will equip with 2K display resolution. Further details on the specs sheet of the Mi Mix 3 successor reveals Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB of of on-board storage. The Mi Mix 4 is also aniticiapted to equip with 5G support.
While the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 release date has yet to be confirmed, a number of reports suggests that the device will make its debut later this September or early October in mainland China.
