Just a few months after Xiaomi debuted the first MIUI 10 Custom ROM in China, the Chinese manufacturer has started rolling out of the MIUI 10 Stable ROM software update for the Mi 6 and Redmi Note 5 Pro.
The Redmi Note 5 Pro is an India-exclusive model of the Redmi Note 5 that was originally launched earlier this year. Manu Jain, Xiaomi’s country manager for India, took to Twitter to announce the MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM software update release for the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Additionally, the Mi 6 will also get the MIUI 10 Stable ROM software release.
The new Custom ROM is available for users and can be downloaded on Mi India website. As for the Mi 6, the smartphone will the MIUI 10 Stable ROM via over-the-air (OTA). The new ROM is also available for download on the MIUI forum.
Although the Mountain View-based search giant Google already launched the Android 9.0 Pie mobile operating system, the MIUI 10 sits on the top of the Android 8.0 Oreo. The new MIUI 10 has ships with a significant upgrade to the AI. The AI technology on update brings deep machine learning. Additionally, with an upgraded AI, it reduces the loading time of apps you are about to use by studying your app usage behavior and anticipating actions.
Moreover, the MIUI 10 brings bokeh portrait mode to older Xiaomi devices including Xiaomi Mi 5 and Xiaomi Mi Note 2. The MIUI 10 custom ROM also ships with additional features such as driving mode, smart home gadgets manager and among others.
